Dementia care can be a challenging journey for both caregivers and family members alike – that’s a massive understatement.
Cortland Northview is thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of the Terrace, a newly renovated senior living community with a dedicated focus on memory care. This newly renovated building will offer 40 studio apartments, all designed to provide quality care and comfort for community members needing memory care services. In addition, the Terrace will accept Medicaid Waiver, ensuring accessibility for a wider community of seniors.
The Terrace is set to support families in Grand Rapids seeking memory focused care for their loved ones. With its thoughtfully designed studio apartments and comprehensive memory care programs, the Terrace aims to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where community members can thrive.
Key features of the Terraces include:
- 40 Modern Studio Apartments: Each apartment is designed with the comfort and safety of residents in mind, offering a serene and supportive living space.
- Memory Care Focus: Specialized programs and activities tailored to enhance cognitive function and improve the quality of life for community members with memory-related conditions.
- Medicaid Waiver Acceptance: Making high-quality memory care accessible to more families, alleviating financial concerns while ensuring the best possible care.
While the official opening date is yet to be confirmed, we anticipate welcoming our first residents towards the beginning of August 2024. The team at Cortland Northview is eagerly preparing to provide care and support to the community members at the Terrace.
“We are committed to creating a warm and supportive community where residents receive quality memory care,” said Micheal Eby: Executive Director at Cortland Northview. “The Terrace represents our dedication to excellence in senior living and our mission to improve the lives of those we serve.”
